None of them really improved the audio performance of my system. 🙂 Then of course I tried generic ASIO drivers such as ASIO4ALL and the FL Studio ASIO driver. Since it wasn’t really handy to always use an USB audio, I started to try a few things: At first I contacted Realtek and HP if they can provide an official ASIO driver but turned out that support staff did not even understand what an ASIO driver is. So it was pretty obvious: The problem was caused by my integrated Realtek HD audio device, which didn’t have a native ASIO driver. Whenever I used an USB audio interface with ASIO support, the performance was like 10x better. Since I got my HP ProBook I was pretty happy except for one problem: Multimedia apps such as Premiere Pro, FL Studio, Cubase or Studio One always had serious performance problems (high latency, CPU spikes and dropouts). ASIO is usually available for professional studio hardware only, but also for Realtek integrated sound devices aka. I will say that I put little effort into fixing it because I don't use onboard for mucfh, but I have seen a trend towards relying on microsoft for my onboard audio even when I go through the same steps.For music production and video editing an ASIO driver can boost your system’s performance. The only function I used and still somewhat miss is the ability to designate each port for something other than intended. I often reset or reinstall windows and each time it's different. I have noticed over the past few years that the functionality has changed drastically. I have to ask what the realtek audio management software does that you need it for. But I do know that when I'm streaming on discord with an external usb dac/amp and an onboard input with a modmic, I get crosstalk which has me believing that part is software based. I don't know if it's an onboard thing or something to do with the wiring after the output/input. But to address your original problem, headsets have an unfortunate side effect of bleeding output with input. Please let me know if you found out how to get the UI back.

Same thing for me i deleted the driver because i was being an idiot and thinking that if i get rid of it people wouldnt hear my youtube videos or voice chat going from my headphones to my mic.
